ITIL and COBIT Implementation in ARIS Toolset
Škoviera, Martin ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This master's thesis explores the topic of guidance for the COBIT framework and ITIL library in the context of business process management. It encompasses various process modelling languages and diagrams for companies active in information and communication technologies. Through the selected ARIS tool set and the mapping of all 64 processes, the establishment of individual processes can now be achieved, which is explained by modelling a total of 101 diagrams. The thesis also contains an example of process deployment for a selected company, which is accompanied by an implementation of a dashboard application that monitors the ticket flow of service operation processes.
Information System Selection
Kornelly, Roman ; Minařík, Luděk (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The thesis aims to describe the selection of a new information system, which should lead to process streamlining and a boost in the number of customers at Rumburak s.r.o. The first chapter lays out the theoretical knowledge needed to tackle the task at hand. The following section analyzes the internal and external environment of the company and the implications thereof. The proposal portion contains a comparison of the available information systems and selects the best among them. It develops a schedule for the implementation of the new IS, along with identifying the benefits and economic evaluation of the entire proposal.
Optimization of Precision Seamless Tubes Production
Mikula, Samuel ; Fašková, Andrea (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
Theme of my final bachelor thesis is optimization of precision seamless tubes production. The thesis covers overall analysis of the company and current state of production processes at given production hall. Thesis also describes material flow through whole production process. In conclusion there are described suggestions to optimise and to improve efficiency of production.
INTEGRATED SOLUTION OF DIAGNOSTICS OF PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT IN THE CZECH ENERGY INDUSTRY
Cvešpr, Pavel ; Szabó,, Radek (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
This dissertation thesis is concerned with the diagnostics of the main production facilities in Czech power engineering with a focus on its integrating role in the process of gaining, saving and processing information for the purpose of evaluating the technical state of the operated facilities and the plan to manage their lifetime. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents the conclusions of examination of the needs of involved workers in the areas of diagnostics, maintenance and expert assessment of technical state of equipment. These conclusions were formulated based on the completed analysis of the current status ("as - is" analysis) of performing diagnostics of systems operated in the technological units of both nuclear and classical power engineering. The monitored equipment involves electrical installations and machinery, steel and building constructions, measuring instruments and vibrodiagnostics. Based on the analysis results, process diagrams are created for the solution of partial tasks. The analysis of the proposed solution for problems in question ("should - be" analysis) includes a design of the fundamental scheme of the data model for a software solution and a design of data flows from the individual data sources. The following part presents an application layer which includes a detailed description of major functionalities. Further, important activities and procedures are described that are necessary to evaluate the technical state of equipment. The practical part deals with the implementation of the LTO suite software product in the environment of power engineering in Czech Republic, specifically within ČEZ, a.s.. The LTO suite functionality is demonstrated in this part of the thesis by screens recorded within the LTO suite individual modules, which work above the actual data. It starts with the initial screen for configuration of displayed data, continues to present examples of the equipment register, planning, processing and saving of information collected through the diagnostic activities over to the module of integration – analytical layer, which is designed for evaluation of the technical state of equipment at the entered date with a reporting output. The thesis also includes the chapters on "Aims of the Study" and "Conclusion". The key chapter presents the "Benefits of the Study", whose overview describes the original results of the research as well as those applicable also outside the power engineering area.
Design and Implementation of a Mobile Application in a Corporate Environment
Brodňanský, Erik ; Veselý, Martin (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of a multiplatform mobile application for a specific company. In addition to an application design, it also deals with the design of a database and user interface. It also contains an analysis of the corporate environment in order to define the operating systems on which it will be implemented. The conclusion is devoted to the evaluation of development costs.
Software Support of Process Management in the Company
Vavrouchová, Anna ; Juřica, Pavel (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with defining the requirements for the company's information system and its selection. The design of the solution is based on modeling and analysis of the company's processes. Defining requirements is based on the vision of future support for the management of these processes in the information system.
Design and Implementation of a Software Application
Chlpíková, Eva ; Maštalíř, Roman (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design and development of an analytical application for a specific company. The application is designed for the tvOS operating system running on Apple TV devices. In addition to the design of the application itself, the thesis also deals with the analysis of the company's current solution and possible alternatives. The design part includes introducing the user interface, creating a custom database, and designing application features.
Modelling and Analysis of Logistics Processes by Applying Process and Data Mining Techniques
Rudnitckaia, Julia ; Wang, Hao (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
In this thesis, we propose an approach for modelling hidden and unknown processes and subprocesses in the example of a seaport logistics area. Having the underlying process model makes it possible to exploit more advanced algorithms since deviations and main paths are becoming visible and better controlled. The obtained model is the foundation for the core research of this work and will be enriched with key performing indicators and their forecast by applying advanced process mining, statistics, and machine learning techniques. The main difference of the approach is that we take as a target variable not any specific value, but the object - a process variant or a process type with a set of parameters. Bottleneck analysis, from one side, and predictive analysis, on the other hand, are enforced with context-aware information, especially with these additional objective process attributes.   Furthermore, the support of the descriptive ("As is") current process model with certain notation and the integration with relevant bottleneck and predictive methods compromise the advantages of the approach. The work primarily focuses on the design of algorithms and methods for supporting logistics data analysis. However, it can be adjusted and applied to other areas accordingly, which makes the approach flexible and versatile. The result of the work is the framework for unstructured process modelling and the key process parameters predictive method. This analysis of processes with their attributes might be used for decision-making systems and process maps in future.
Mapování a zvýšení efektivity výrobních procesů v podniku
Dobešová, Bohdana
This master’s thesis deals with mapping and measuring manufacturing processes in a selected business. Theoretical part explains basic terms from area of manufacturing processes, describes performance measurement methods and risks possibly affecting the efficiency of the whole process. Practical part maps and measures manufacturing processes in the selected business. Based on the measurement results, the riskiest processes are evaluated, and possible efficiency improvements are drawn up. Manufacturing processes are graphically presented in process model schemes.
